Cleaning rooms between 10:00AM- 3:00PM;
Duties will include cleaning guest rooms, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping floors, assisting with laundry, and ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean and properly presented. A room attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests, and must be pleasant, friendly and able to address problems or special requests.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Your job responsibilities include:
- Stock and sort supplies
- clean, dust and polish guest rooms
- Make beds, change sheets, remove and replace used towels and toiletries
- Bathroom Cleaning
- Window cleaning
- Report necessary maintenance items
- Maintaining cleaning equipment, supplies, and storage spaces in an orderly fashion
- Light landscaping tasks and other seasonal cleaning duties
- Using proper cleaning and sanitation protocols
- Ensuring Health and Safety procedures are understood and followed
- Interacting with guests and responding to requests as needed
PREREQUISITES
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Proven ability to work well unsupervised at a sustained pace while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent time management skills
- Commitment to provide excellent service and exceed guests' expectations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience is an asset
- Part time and Full time hours available upon request
- The position of Room Attendant is physically demanding. The successful applicant must be physically capable of performing repetitive work, standing and walking for extended periods of time. Must be physically able to lift and carry approximately 30lbs, including pushing equipment. Must be able physically able to stoop, kneel, reach, stand, walk, bend, twist, push, see, and hear.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-35 per week
Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
